Hello, my name is Jessie Lucchesi. I was born in Reno Nevada and reside in Rural Nevada in a small town called Panaca. I have always lived in rural communities and my love and passion for rural health and life still follows me today. I was raised in a large family and was born the second oldest out of 7 children. Being the oldest daughter, I loved helping take care of my siblings which grew into my passion for taking care of others. I have known since a young age that I wanted to be in the medical field and through years of trials and tribulations, I would find my niche in nursing. Nursing fulfilled my love for taking care of my patients and the bonds I could form with them and their families. After many years of being a nurse I still wanted more, so I decided to get my master is nursing to become a provider.
I graduated high school from Lincoln County High and went to pursue my passion in medicine. My college degrees came from Southern Utah University, Dixie State University (now Utah Tech) and Simmons University out of Boston MA. As a Nurse, I worked in a rural hospital as an ER nurse, Long term Care nurse, and Hospice nurse. I also worked as a correction nurse in Nevada prior to graduating from my masters.
I am married with children and my family is one of the most important parts of my life. The other important part of my life is God who has always been there for my family, and I and I would not be here today without his guidance and love. I am active in many outdoor activities, which include camping, hiking, trail riding, hunting, fishing, and watersports. When I am not doing outdoor activities, I enjoy learning new hobbies and reading a good book.
Currently I am a Family Nurse Practitioner license in Utah and Nevada specializing in Family Practice with a passion in women’s health. I have a wealth of experience in many different specialties from being a RN and a Nurse Practitioner. I provide my patients with the best care and experience because of my love and passion for the community and their health. My passion for my practice and women's health is evident in my interactions with patients of all ages, guiding them through their acute or chronic conditions. My approach to my practice is treating my patients as individuals and holistically, meaning I treat not just the physical aspects of health, but also the mental aspects so my patients can live their best and healthiest lives possible.
With my passion for women's health comes my skills in preventative cares such as PAPs, breast exams, birth control management, Nexplanon arm implant and removal, and IUD insertion and removal. I provide basic hormone replacement therapy if appropriate, and premarital health visits. I manage many different women's health needs and conditions. Pre-natal visits are also in my scope of practice for those with healthy low risk pregnancies. I enjoy expanding my knowledge and experiences when it comes to taking care of others so that I can give my patients the best care possible.
I have always loved Enterprise Utah and have wanted to be a part of the cares of the community for many years, and I am so blessed that I will be able to provide healthcare to the community and build relationships to last for years to come. Together I believe that I can be a part of so many of your lives to help you live your healthiest and best lives possible. I look forward to meeting you all and taking care of a community, I have loved for many years.
